For this week I was the Vocabulary Enricher and I wrote these flowing words which I did not understand-


Cobbled-(of an area or roadway) paved with cobbles.
Mort-The note sounded on a horn when the quarry is killed.
Dowry-An amount of property or money brought by a bride to her husband on their marriage.
Prowling-(of a person or animal) move about restlessly and stealthily, especially in search of prey.
Gentry-people of good social position, specifically the class of people next below the nobility in position and birth.
Shilling-former British coin and monetary unit equal to one twentieth of a pound or twelve pence.
Torah-(in Judaism) the law of God as revealed to Moses and recorded in the first five books of the Hebrew scriptures (the Pentateuch).
Surtoute-A man's greatcoat of a similar style to a frock coat.
